Last night we went back to Home Depot to sign some paperwork, look at faucets, drawer pulls, screen doors, back splashes, and appliances. We ended up buying a dishwasher, stove and microwave--all Whirlpool brand in the color slate. I love the color! I'm also especially excited about the stove--it's called Profile, and the flat top goes all the way to the edge, without a lip. Very exciting!
Unfortunately, they charge us to haul away the old appliances, so if anyone wants a dishwasher, stove and/or over-the-stove microwave for free (you pick up), let us know.
We got two great finds at HOBO today. The first are drawer pulls for the new cabinets:
The second is that we found stools! They are exactly what we were hoping to find--backless, rectangular, slightly distressed:
We'll have a table and chairs and benches to get rid of, too, but will sell those, as they're newer.
It's getting more real. :)
